Two families, Seven Qualifiers

Families of wrestlers are not unheard of in Missouri. If the dad or grandfather wrestled, the odds are their kids will end up on the mat during the high school years at the very least. If those families have been blessed with multiple children and the older sibling wrestled, the odds are the younger ones will follow suit at some point.  

However, what is rare is having more than one family member qualify for the state tournament in the same year. Two state qualifiers in the same year and family have been done several times with either a set of twins or siblings close in age. What has taken place the past two weekends at two different District Tournaments might not happen again for a while…
