Staley reloads with variety of kids with state accomplishments, summer accolades and a tough freshman class

Head Coach Elisha Bears disclosed that “We expect our kids to focus on the process and fight for their teammates.” Additionally, “Our goal is for our athletes to work to become better wrestlers and people on a daily basis.”

The 2017 state champion Staley Falcons should continue to be a strong contender to maintain a presence at the top of the leaderboards in 2019.

The Falcons finished 2018 with a 17-3 dual record and along the way captured a conference championship. The Falcons were also district runner ups in the tough Class 4 District 4 championship.

The Staley Falcons who finished on top of the podium at the 2017 Class 4 state championships followed up last year with a third place finish behind Christian Brothers College and Park Hill.
