Priory enters season on trend of improved state team finishes

Five state qualifiers produced the best finish in the Class 2 Missouri State Wrestling Championships for Priory in more than a decade.

Greg Rolwes led the state contingent by reaching the state final at 170 pounds, and the Rebels placed 24th in Class 2 with 26 team points. They slowly built over a span of four years, moving up each year.

To continue that trend, three returning state qualifiers and others on the roster will have to make big strides.
