MARYVILLE, MO -- The Cameron Dragons showed the competition one of these teams is not like the others as they dominated at the Maryville quad meet, outscoring all their opponents 201-42.

Things went downhill early for the Savannah Savages as they were the first team to take on Cameron. The Dragons quickly jumped to a 36-0 lead thanks to three opens, a decision and a pin by 120-pound honorable mention junior Colman Oxford.

Things got dicy at the 126-pound weight class as No. 4 ranked junior Caleb Worland found himself on his back many times against sophomore Will Courtney of Savannah. Down 8-7 going into the third period, Worland had to cut Courtney and settle for the match-tying takedown. He not only got the takedown but an additional three count as well. Courtney would score a reversal as time was running out, but it was too late as Worland secured the 12-11 win.
