Another year. Another state championship for the Lebanon girls wrestling team.
Since girls wrestling was implemented in Missouri in 2019, the Yellowjackets have been the cream of the crop of the division.

In Saturday’s Class 2 Missouri State High School Girls Wrestling Championships, they came out on top once again. Lebanon won its third straight state team title and fourth in the last five years after scoring 134.5 points to take first. Marquette took second place with 105 points, Liberty was third with 97 and Nixa was fourth with 89.
“I am so happy about my team and so happy I got to be here,” Lebanon sophomore Jessa Joiner said. “I can’t wait to be with my team and celebrate this.”
