Eldon Mustangs Team Preview

By: Michael Siegel

(Eldon, Missouri) Head coach Ryan Bird is entering his fourth year at the helm and is looking to add more medals this season.

“This is our seventh year as a Varsity program, and we try to improve every year. Bird said when asked about the status of the program.

“We’ve been able to put ten guys on the podium in the last three seasons, and we’d like to see that trend continue.”

Just last year, Eldon finished thirteenth in class two with all three qualifiers landing on the podium. Eldon also added their second State Champion in Isaiah Simmions at 113 as well as a second-place medal in Dawson Brandt at 182.
