Drury Wrestling traveled to St. Louis over the weekend to compete in the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open. The tournament featured 229 wrestlers from 19 teams with multiple ranked wrestlers. Drury came away with 11 placers including two champions and 2 runner-ups. Freshman 165 lber Charley Genisio claimed a tournament title and the Outstanding Wrestler for the Amateur tournament.
Drury entered 19 wrestlers in the tournament and went 35-27 as a team while racking up 10 falls as a team. Complete results can be found online at DruryPanthers.com.

This next weekend Drury hits the road again as the Panthers travel to St. Charles for the Joe Parisi Open. The tournament features two divisions and over 500 wrestlers. The Amateur brackets features some really good young talent competing amongst a majority of Freshman and Sophomores. The Elite brackets features many accomplished veterans wrestling against a majority of Juniors and Seniors. The tournament is set to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday and is hosted by Lindenwood University. You can follow the tournament via Trackwrestling.
