“We performed well overall for our first tournament of the season,” said Drury head coach James Reynolds. “We did a lot of great things and will look to improve upon individual performances as we come together as a team. Wrestling is long and extremely physical season and the end goal is to be healthy and competing at your best at the end. We will be making many decisions in the coming weeks based on performances within these first three Open tournaments at the beginning of the season and work to put the best athletes in positions to compete well. We are also extremely grateful to the fan and family presence while on the road. The support is absolutely incredible from parents to grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters and family friends. There is an excitement in the atmosphere around this team.”
