#5 J’den Cox, USA
Cox opens against unranked Ahmed Dudarov (GER). I see Cox picking up a pretty easy first win here. His second match would likely be against Finland native and Campbell Camels wrestler Ville Heino. This bout might be slightly more entertaining for the Pro American/ folkstyle crowd as Heino is a known NCAA commodity, but Cox remains a heavy favorite here. The quarterfinal opponent will likely be #12 Zbigniew Baranowski (POL). Cox has beaten Baranowski in the past at the Mongolia qualifier to the Olympic games by a 4-1 score. Baranowski will be game, but J’den’s movement and efficient scoring will be enough here. #10 Yurieski Torreblanca Queralta (CUB) is the likely semifinal opponent here.
