Crossroads Invitational Dual Tournament

The third annual Crossroads Invitational Dual Tournament was hosted Saturday 1/6/18 by the Cameron R-I School District. The Millard South Patriots took home top honors again this year. The defending Class A State Champions from Nebraska had no trouble with the competition; as they won each dual by an average of 41 points. The Patriots dispatched St. James (50-22), Cameron (68-6), Clinton (75-6), and Moberly (51-24) in pool competition before defeating the Springdale Har-Ber Wildcats (AR) 42-20 in the championship dual of the tournament.

Springdale Har-Ber for the most part dominated their pool competition as well, winning versus Savannah (67-9), Mexico (47-21), Eldon (65-9), and squeaking out a close one versus Odessa (36-33).

The Moberly Spartans finished third defeating Clinton (66-6), St. James (48-24), Cameron (45-33); with their only loss being to the eventual champions.
