Cwcg 1
Isn't there a Saunders on the team around 141 that will figure into the line up?

O’Toole, possibly as well. Interesting what will happen with Brown and Schmitt battling it out with the other lower weights. Will Jaques or Mauler RS next year? Lots of things could happen.
flanders 256
Looks like Leeth is coming back with possibly the seniors that got robbed out of their season this year. It's gonna be interesting, that's for sure.
Warren Haynes 241
Also remember that NCAA’s are in St Louis and Mizzou is hosting. I bet if freshmen are ready to go, they’ll go.

Lalum 17
Some interesting info I heard on a podcast today (it was Matt Manley, I believe): Winter sports hoping for a 0yr like fall sports...meaning this season doesn't count against eligibility...so maybe no need for regular redshirts? Season starting in January most likely...meaning likely only 7-10 duals and no tournaments prior to conference ships Connor Brown will try to get down to 125 Alan Hart plans to go 141 this season, with Schmitt staying at 133 O'Toole could be 157 this season if Jacques redshirts
wrestej 110
So does this mean Mauller is red shirting so Leeth goes 149?
nemesis 11
with the "free" year for everyone whats everyone's take on the lineup now? will any freshman make the line up? O'Toole and Elam with the best chance? it's all just speculation without knowing the weights,of course. has anyone heard any info on how things are looking with weights or progress of any the the wrestlers? should i be asking other questions like...when do we start? and are we even going to have a season? thanks for any input. Lalum 7
One thing I saw is speculation that Leeth will not be wrestling this season. I'm not sure why, but that would open things up for Hart at 141 maybe. Also, as I mentioned before, no need for redshirts.
flanders 256
I'm not on Twitter but I was told Leeth posted on there a couple weeks ago that his wrestling career is over.
StLouie 7
Sad to see Leeth go, but congrats to him on a great wrestling career. With that in mind, along with this year basically being a freebie in terms of eligibility (no need to redshirt), what does our lineup look like? I'm guessing: 125- Connor Brown/ Cam Valdiviez 133- Connor Brown/ Matt Schmitt 141- Matt Schmitt/ Allan Hart/ Josh Edmond (is Edmond at the level to challenge at this point in time?) 149- Brock Mauller 157- Jarrett Jacques 165- Keegan O'Toole/ Peyton Mocco 174- Jeremiah Kent 184- Canten Marriott 197- Wyatt Koelling/ Rocky Elam/ Jake Raschka 285- Zach Elam

StLouie 7
Great showing for the Tigers at Juniors and U23s. I found a couple weight classes that our guys went interesting: - Connor Brown went 57kg. You've got to think this means he's going 125 for the college season, why else cut down that much. - O'Toole went 70kg. This means he's not bulking up for 165 and likely going 157. Does he beat Jacques out for that spot? I think that between O'Toole and Jacques, whoever doesn't end up going 157 will claim the 165 spot. Jacques seems like he could be a good sized 165 as well. I just have a hard time believing a recruit as good as O'Toole will not be in the lineup this year, especially when it's a freebie in terms of NCAA eligibility. With that said, our lineup could look like: 125- Connor Brown 133- Matt Schmitt 141- Josh Edmond/ Allan Hart (Edmond's performance at Juniors makes me feel like he could be the frontrunner) 149- Brock Mauller 157- Keegan O'Toole 165- Jarrett Jacques 174- Jeremiah Kent 184- Canten Marriott 197- Wyatt Koelling/ Rocky Elam/ Jake Raschka 285- Zach Elam

MLBRUEM 418
Seems like the Black and Gold was basically a wrestle off to see who was #2 in the room as a lot of the expected #1s did not wrestle.
StLouie 7
I thought some of the results from Mizzou's first tri-meet were interesting. I have no inside info, but if someone does I would be interested in hearing your thoughts! - I was expecting Jeremiah Kent at 174 for sure, with Marriott/Hawks at 184. The coaches must be pretty high on Sean Harman if they think him at 174 with Kent at 184 is a better lineup. Or this is just the start of the season and some guys are getting down to weight? - Jacques and O'Toole both had good showings. I wonder when/how the coaches will make the decision on 157. Overall I thought the team performed great, and it feels good to have college wrestling back. I'm excited to see how our team does this season.
