Flow has him as the #24 prospect at 285

InterMat also projects him at 285 and lists him as #4 ranked 220 and #3 senior 220

I am liking this Recruiting Class getting some needs taken care of with (125 & 165/174)

This years recruiting class is going to be small with the size of last years class.

If they could get Winston that would make an amazing haul for 2019 with all in the top 100.

Then go after the Missouri talent in 2020

with Eierman, Flynn, Myers, Butler, Fortuna, and others coming off the books (Probably Leeth as well)

It would free up money to go after Missouri kids like Saunders, Reno, Penner, Elam, Henson. Plus an Illinois kid like Luke Odom (Surtin's Teammate).

Robert Weber from Belton (2nd, 1st, 1st & 3rd at '18 Preseason Nats) was just on an official visit at Mizzou this past weekend. He could easily be 160 this season, so he projects to be 165 in college.

good luck to him.  It's Tigerstyle with or without him.

Very unfortunate as Devin could be very essential in the Tigers going to a new high with

home grown talent. It would be very special for him to be a part of that great team. Looking

at who he is considering as his top 5 they are all destined to be looking up at the Tigers.

That seems a bit dismissive of the programs he is considering four of the teams are currently ranked in the top 10. Four also compete in the Big 10 which I think is a big selling point over competing in the MAC. Minnesota has a brand new facility and and tradition to go along with it.

Not dismissive at all in my opinion. Its an opinion about how good he feels Missouri will be in the coming years. Dismissive is stating "over competing in the MAC". Is the Big10 better than the MAC from top to bottom, yes. But put Missouri in the Big10 and they would be competing with the top 3-4 every year. And hopefully in the coming years will be better than all those teams.

RTC situation could play into it as well.  Illinois is the only non top ten team in there, but they've solved for the RTC problem.  Mizzou just hasn't figured it out yet.  As far as the MAC thing, I think we have done a good job of scheduling tough out of conference duals to help with the weaker in conference schedule.  Scheduling CKLV this year has helped, we always need to have CKLV or a preseason tournament of similar stature if we are going to stay in the MAC.

Not dismissive at all - I am aware of the fact that these are good to great programs that they are in a stronger conference then the Tigers and the other facts that you point out. I just happen to believe that Mizzou wrestling will be better than those programs in the immediate future and that Devin Winston would really add to that future result.

He must do what is best for him. If that does not include Missouri I wish him the best and will still be a fan.

Is there any news on Rocky Elam or Colton Hawks? Both won National folkstyle titles this past weekend.  184 and 197 are going to be essential to recruit for.

I don't have any inside info but I know Mizzou cornered the market on cool wrestler's names. These 2 both qualify.

Rocky Elam just committed and thats two off the Flo big board inside the top 15.  I’m guessing he keeps climbing up.  He’s a stud.

That's great news!
