New Class 4 for 2013 and 2014

What I find Funny is Ft. Zumwalt North went down 10 kids and moved up a class.

It looks like this district will continue to be the same meat grinder it always has. Nice!!!!!

Here is the problem with Ft. Zumwalt North and Lebanon Being smallest Class 4 schools. 3 classes will have 57 and one will have 55 schools... So Why not make the biggest Class 55 schools and all the rest 57... but that sounds to logical for MSHSAA.

I actually thought they would go

class 1 57

class 2 57

class 3 56

class 4 56

 

I can not remember how it actually divides but I thought that is what I was told would happen. Also, there is a chance that schools still add or drop wrestling. The schools are supposed to turn in that paperwork at the begining of June.

scr, thanks for the clarification and I guess that's one reason MSHSAA can say they wait. My only argument would be that I don't believe too many coaches would be concerned if they made the classes/districts and then had to place any "new" participating schools at a later date. I think waiting affects more schools then if they went ahead a released them. That's the way I look at it but I could be wrong.
