  1. Sunday May 5th at the Sedalia State Fairgrounds. This will be for youth and high school. Youth will be matched in Madison Block, High School will be the following weight classes: 100, 106, 112, 117, 122, 127, 132, 138, 144, 152, 164, 180, 200, 225 This tournament will be used to help determine lineups for National Duals and will be a qualifier for Fargo (top 4 at each weigh automatically qualify)

  4. That was Brett's choice last night. Our 220 was ruled medically ineligible. If Brett was to win out at 195, he would finish with 199 career wins, if he wins out at 220, he would finish with 200. He set a goal to try and get to that at the beginning of the season and decided last night that he wanted to try. Huge weight disadvantage as he walks under 190, but wanted to challenge himself and you can't hate a kid that runs to a challenge.

Attached is the flier for the 2017 Girls Midwest Mat Challenge (Formally Missouri Girls State) sponsored by Missouri USA Wrestling We have opened the tournament up to girls from the surrounding states. This will be a FOLKSTYLE tournament held on the campus of Missouri Valley College. I highly encourage your girl to attend this event as we continue to make every effort possible to grow women's wrestling and opportunities for women's wrestling.
