Wrestling Combine

October 2, 2017

Thank you to all 100+ athletes who signed up and will be competing at the combine!

The 2nd Annual Wrestling Combine, sponsored by MissouriWrestling.com and Greater Heights Wrestling, gives athletes who are interested in wrestling after high school an opportunity to train and compete with one another, learn technique, while getting in front of college coaches. Sessions will consist of drilling, technique, sparring and live wrestling. We invite wrestlers from ALL states to attend. Last year we had wrestlers representing six states.

There will also be a Q&A session where wrestlers will be provided with valuable information about recruiting, expectations from coaches, time management and how to minimize distractions and the understand the potential pitfalls of the student-athlete.

If you registered before September 22nd, you will receive three combine shirts: two practice shirts with last name so coaches can easily identify athletes from the 100+ page media guide, plus a camp souvenir shirt.

Here is your chance to show off your wrestling skills to different levels of college coaches all at one location and learn from NCAA champs. Registration will be capped, so don’t wait to register!

Last year we had over 125 wrestlers from six states and 34 colleges/universities in attendance. Many of those wrestlers went on to become state placers, state champions, Fargo All-Americans, Fargo National Champions. Numerous graduating seniors that attended are now wrestling in college at all levels.

This is the real deal for recruiting in the midwest. This year’s combine is October 7th & 8th at Oak Park High School, located in Kansas City, MO – within 25 minutes from Kansas City International Airport.

Greater Heights is hosting Wrestling Prep this weekend (October 14-15)at Park Hill HS for a camp that has a one day or two day option.
Body Leveraging, Scramble by Design, Human Geometry, Multi Dimensional Movement are all part of and applicable to the teaching and technique logic at Wrestling Prep. Combining awareness of the athletes body type with logic, math and physics based application of technique and detailed focus and instruction on body position and movement are the predominant reasons training from Wrestling Prep and Carolyn Wester culminates in the large results athletes, their parents and competition placings signify. http://www.wrestlingprep.com
