With only eight on the roster, St. Francis Borgia could realistically limit expectations. Instead, coach Matt Posinski hopes to develop the next round of standouts from within a small practice room.

All three of Borgia’s Class 2 Missouri State Wrestling Championships qualifiers in 2018 were seniors, including state medalists Adam Hellebusch (fifth, 113 pounds) and Dylan Hellebusch (third, 138) and Reid Posinski. The trio led the Knights to a tie for 20th place in the final team standings.

However, Borgia shifts from Class 2 District 1 to Class 2 District 2, providing a different path to state.
