Anne Rogers is a student at the University of Missouri. She is studying sports journalism and psychology, and she is a sports reporter at the Columbia Missourian.
An Iowa native, Anne has been watching wrestling for most of her life, whether that be high school meets or Iowa meets. Her favorite meet she saw was when Missouri beat Iowa in the National Duals at Carver Hawkeye Arena. Anne was sitting mat-side when Alan Waters beat Thomas Gilman in what some might call a tense match. She might have been wearing a Hawkeye shirt, but she sometimes says that the match sealed the deal as to where she would attend college the next fall.
In her free time, Anne enjoys running and watching any and all sports. She will compete in her second marathon in October, and she is a member of the Mizzou Running Club. Her favorite sport to watch besides wrestling is baseball or basketball.
