PLATTSBURG, Mo, -- It was the Maryville Spoofhounds who stood tall at the end of the Monday night as they took down both the South Harrison Bulldogs and Plattsburg Tigers.
Maryville sat and watched as Plattsburg and South Harrison started the night with a back forth dual. South Harrison jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead thanks to Plattsburg being open at 106 pounds, and junior Timmy Williams etching out a 3-0 win over freshman Joey Hofmeister.
After both teams gave up consecutive opens at 120 and 126, Tiger freshman Skytchen Stockton earned a victory via fall over junior Jaren Van Meter. South Harrison gave up an open at 138 and lost at 145 when Plattsburg sophomore Austin Rankin majored senior Cole Ellis 11-2.
Even though he’s ranked as an honorable mention at 160, Plattsburg junior Klayton Kennedy made the cut to 152 and pinned freshman Parker Chamberlain in 34 seconds. South Harrison struck back
