I received a phone call from former Northwest wrestler Rob Betz (Class of 2001) who asked me if it was true that Mike was slated to appear on season 11 of the Ultimate Fighter. I told him I have heard nothing about it. Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

I'd send Mike a message but I am at work and Facebook is blocked here.

Just talked to Michael guys. No truth to the rumor although he would love the opportunity. Michael is gearing up for his fight on November 20th and his Northwest faithful will be there in force!

Thanks for clearing it up Coach. Would be awesome to see Mike on there, but I'd rather seem him get a few fights and at least 18 months of xtraining in before going to the show.

Just a reminder for anyone wanting to go to the fight you can purchase tickets at www.tyronwoodley.com. You don't have to pay the ticketmaster fees if you purchase through Tyron's web site. These seats are all in the same cheering section. Also there is a bus coming up from STL that will also make a stop in Columbia to pick up fans. You can purchase the bus ticket on www.tyronwoodley.com as well as a ticket to the Tyron/Chandler tailgate.

Should be an excellent night, I'll be there and hope to see everyone there!

Louden you know as well as I do that Michael got all the training he needs in the Northwest practice room! Plus I passed all the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu knowledge you gave me on to him. The man is ready!
