There will be some major upgrades for Northwest next year as there is more time to get things organized. We were not approved by the school as an organization until October this year, so we had very little time to fundraise and organized logistics before November.

Next year we will have new mats and a much larger budget to work with. In addition I am in the process or organizing a booster group, headed by former wrestlers from Northwest. If we can raise enough money, we might explore the possibility of granting independently funded scholarships as some of the better off NCWA programs.

I encourage wrestlers to consider this as a viable opportunity not only to continue their wrestling careers, but also to help build a program.
