2009 Waynesville Freestyle/Greco Roman Tournament

Entry Fee: $15.00 per wrestler for one style (Freestyle or Greco)
$25.00 per wrestler for both styles (Freestyle & Greco). No Refunds.

Admission: Adults $3.00, Children (5-11) $1.00

Age: Wrestler’s age as of December 31, 2009
Weigh- Ins: Saturday, May 9 – 7:00-8:00
Wrestlers must wear a singlet to weigh- in. If you fail to weigh in prior to 8:00 you will not be allowed to wrestle.
Rules clinic and Demonstration will begin at 9:00 am. Freestyle matches begin: 9:30 AM Greco begins immediately following the completion of the Freestyle tournament.
Tournament Format: We will be using Round Robin format for all Divisions. This is a USA sanctioned tournament. All wrestlers and coaches must have a current USA card. USA cards will be available for purchase at the door for $30 for competitors, Coaches cards must be purchased online through USA wrestling (http://www.usawmembership.com/.) Click on create account for membership. USA rules apply. The head official’s decisions are final.
Length of Periods for Freestyle & Greco: (Rookie-Junior) ~ 3 periods of 2 minute each.
Awards: 1st place- 3rd place
Concessions: Breakfast, Lunch drinks and snacks
