Not bad. As much as I want to agree with you and put Shogun down there, realistically when you look at his one significant loss at 205 (to Griffin) he has only victories. Before Griffin he was ranked #1. So to drop from #1 to #8 seems illogical unless you are further dropping him due to his victory over Coleman and judging how poorly he performed in winning. Dropping someone because he won a fight doesn't make much sense.

Don't get me wrong, i do feel Shogun is going to be dropping in good time, I don't think he has what it takes to beat Liddell or so many others at the UFC 205, but until he loses again, I don't think it is fair to drop him below Liddell. Shogun should be #5.

Little Nog should not be on there. He has had one nice victory at 205 in forever, and that was over The Janitor who wasn't even ranked in the Top 15. On top of that he is largely inactive in recent memory at 205.

I can see Sobral back in there with his win over Soak-a-jew, and 10th is a good place for him. I would like to see Tito in there over Nog, because Tito has only lost to Liddell and Machida recently, and he did "win" that match against Rashad. It was only a draw because he was penalized a point.

Shogun has dropped from #1 to #8 because he has been so inactive and Tito has left the list for the same reason. Look to see Shogun climb back up with a win over Liddell on April 18th.

You didn't use that same reasoning with Little Nog...

LIL NOG 16-3
2-1-2008 TKO over Todd Gowenberg
7-19-2008 TKO over Edwin Dewees
11-1-2008 Dec. over Moise Rimbon
1-24-2009 KO over Vladimir Matyushenko

Other notable wins-Dan Henderson, Kazuhiro Nakamura, Allistair Overeem (2), Kazushi Sakuraba
losses-Shogun Rua, Matyushenko (which he revenged), and Sokoudjou (which in my opinion was a fluke).

His big wins came courtesy of years ago. Recently he only has Matyushenko as a big win. The rest, who cares. At least Tito recently "beat" Rashad.

I posted this on your HW rankings because your rankings are either exactly same (in every weightclass) or directly copied from these rankings that are a combination of several well-respected mma rankings. Did you honestly not get you're rankings from this site?

Opinions work differently than objective rankings. I too think that Machida is going to win the belt and probably hold it for a long time... but I absolutely have no reason to back up ranking him as the #1 guy yet. He doesn't have big enough wins.

i think rashad is gonna shock the world just like he did against chuck liddell, forest griffin, micheal bisping, stephan bonnar, and the HUGE brad imes. rashad gets better faster stronger every time he fights.. when he fought liddell and griffin he threw 3 punches when they would throw one. buy lyoto is very talented can't wait for this one.. if lyoto wins i dont see rampage beating him the only hope is forest

I am a big Matt Hamill fan, but he has not built up his resume enough to earn a Top 10 ranking. In fact, his next bout is against Brandon Vera... another guy I am a big fan of.

I hate it when two guys I do not want to see lose end up fighting each other, such as the Hamill/Vera fight and the Franklin/Silva fight. Drives me crazy.

I hope you are right. I don't dislike Machida, but neither am I a big fan. I just haven't seen a single hole in that guy's game other than the fact that he tends to be boring. Rashad has a miraculous ability to win fights so this is a very intriguing match up. As much as I am anticipating Rashad/Rampage I don't think Page can beat Machida. So I am hoping Rashad does it for him, and then Page gets to come back for the title against Rashad.
