What time does the seeding meeting start?
Also, do you do it like Districts, where you break into groups by age division.
Just trying to figure out how many coaches we need to bring.

The brackets are filed out by hand. They are not done
With computers so I don't have a way to post them even if they were all finished. All entries are posted on this site under aau state entries. Brackets should be up at weigh ins.

I just wanted to say good job to everyone involved with the AAU state tournament. Everything seemed to run smoothly. Staff was friendly and even the referees were very polite and professional.
Facility--I did like the cafeteria/stage area for the medal presentations. The gyms were a little too small and too spread out. It was not bad, but I am not sure if that is the best building for that many people.
I have only been to AAU state at 2 locations, but I think I prefer last year's site a little better just for the simple fact that you can keep an eye on both the lower mats and upper mats much easier. It makes it alot easier to keep track of all your kids.
I don't know what the facility solution is. I know it is a challenge. Again, not being too critical, just expressing a few opinions.
We will be back next year no matter where it is at. Again, good job.

I also wanted to say good job to everyone associated with putting on the tournament. I have been to the last 4 AAU state events and I thought the wrestling surfaces seemed bigger this year than in previous years. I heard there were over 1250 wrestlers that participated and overall I thought the Lafayette site while not optimum (I do not think any high school location would be optimum) worked well, I did like the way the organizers though about families with small children by running the kids movies throughout the day on the TV's in the cafateria.
I agree with the last post that it is easier to see all the action at the Northwest site but think we are fortunate to have a couple locations that can run a tournament of that size. Great job to all involeved and look forward to next years event wherever it may be.

I made sure to tell Terrie what a great job they did with the tournament. I couldn't find someone from all of the clubs involved with running this tournament to tell them thanks, so I'll post it here.
To everyone involved with running this tournament, GREAT JOB. I've been attending this tournament for so many years I don't care to count, but everyone did a great job and had a great attitude, from the table workers, to the head table, to the refs. Thank you all for making it an enjoyable day.
