you know i just remembered this but it appears on the Results page that Ingargiola has beaten Micheals of Parkway West in a couple of matches that looked more like football games (20-13 I believe was one score)
I assume these have been fun to watch any thoughts/comments on these matches?

Hey Louden, did you put the kids in the same order at every weight by team? If so, what is the team order?

Hey Louden, did you put the kids in the same order at every weight by team? If so, what is the team order?

Pretty much. Some teams are open though which will throw you off because everyone else is bumped up.

Warren, thanks for the corrections. I just went and picked the most recent dual I could find to fill in for the teams.

Seeding them... if only I had more time on the internet to do research. It's busier at work now so I don't find much time. I only post on here during my breaks. I'll see what I can do though...

As far as resurecting another thread... you're the Priest, and you are more likely to be in the business of resurrection... but maybe there is something I can do. It is getting close to Valentine's Day and someone needs to get married...

SEEDING

103 is going to be hard...

Banning beat Hudson twice, but Summers beat Banning. So Summers has criteria over Hudson for beating the person who beat her twice.
Meury has beaten Summers 4-3, so ideally Meury is over Summers, and Summers is over Hudson.
Here's where it gets complicated. Waterkotte pinned Meury and beat Steyer who majored Summers, so it would seem that it would be Waterkotte, Meury, Summers, then Hudson, however Hudson beat Hughes of Camdenton, and Hughes beat Waterkotte. So Hudson has a criteria over Waterkotte, but should be behind the others... HRMMM.....
The only ones that actually went head to head is Waterkotte vs. Meury, and Meury vs. Summers. So that is the most important criteria IMO, and based on the head to head, Waterkotte has it over those 2 wrestlers.

IMO, go with the rankings.
1) Waterkotte
2) Meury
3) Summers
4) Hudson

112:

I may need help on this one. I think Vito Krischke is the clear #1 here, even with a 2OT loss to Irvin. It's the rest that confuse me. I can't find many results with Hall in it... but he does have a 11-10 decision over Irvin.

I say:

1) Krischke
2) Wheelis
3) Hall
4) Irvin/Bunch

119:

1) Young
2) Krischke
3) Halloran
4) I dunno... Shoemaker?

125:

This one is also difficult as to who goes 3 & 4. I can’t find many head to heads.

1) Green
2) Ingargiola
3) Ojile
4) Michaels
HM) Miller/Olejnik/Stinebrook/Banderet

130:

I personally favor Chandler over Harris (Duh!) but the two have split wins over each other. Harris’s edge in the seeding is clear though with a win over Garcia. As for as the 4th seeding, that too is difficult and I am too lazy to go find all of the head to heads between every one of these guys, so I am going with Young because he has wrestled tough against Chandler twice.

1) Garcia
2) Harris
3) Chandler
4) Young
HM) Cain/Schumacher/Muenster/Torgoley/Delarber

135:

1) Pepper
2) Schumacher
3) Waterkotte
4) Stansberry
HM) Boggs

140:

1) Porter
2) Dorsey
3) Beutner
4) Robidoux
HM) Chida

145:

1) Tulley
2) Beardon
3) McMillian
4) Valleroy

152:

I don’t like this one because I don’t know who all Andy Bader has wrestled so it makes him very difficult to rank. Sure he has a great record and is a good wrestler, but he fell short last year when expected to make it. He did give Beardon a good match but I don’t think that one match alone is good enough to say he should be #2. He’ll probably have a better record than Brengle, Uzzetta, and Gant, but I am hesitant to give him the ranking based on his record and name alone… he hasn’t wrestled near the depth that the other guys have. At least not that I can see. ARGH, tough one! I don’t want to give it to him but I am sure the seeding meeting will put him there…
Uzzetta has it over Gant in the head to head.
I personally would put Andy Bader as the HM and let him prove he belongs there with a blind drawing.

1) Beardon
2) Bader
3) Brengle
4) Uzzetta
HM) Gant

160:

I hate to do this to Corzine but I have to put Lewis of Kirkwood ahead of him even though he was robbed by the silliest call ever in 2OT. He was down in 2OT with 24 seconds on the clock. The whistle blows, he stands right up with Lewis clinging to his back. They both stop, Corzine is on his feet trying to pry Lewis’s arms loose, and the ref blows the whistle and calls a stalemate with 18 seconds left on the clock. How the heck, do you call stalemate in 2OT in 6 seconds when the wrestle stands up from bottom and is prying the top guys hands loose for the escape? It was the dumbest call I have seen in a long time…

1) Campbell
2) Foley
3) Thomas
4) Lewis
HM) Corzine

171:

I’m mostly guessing on this one.

1) Moore
2) Cain
3) Phillips
4) Whitney

189:

1) Porter
2) Brewer
3) Henry
4) Fusilier
HM) Gioia/Gerringer

215:

1) Rampley
2) Bell
3) Watkins
4) Rodgers
HM) Aten

275:

This is difficult too as Himmelmann and McKinney split wins. Himmelmann won by fall once, and McKinney won in OT. I believe Breeden lost to McKinney and beat most everyone else. Let’s do this for seeding:

1) McKinney
2) Breeden
3) Janson
4) Fischer
HM) Barker/Himmelann

Fuselier now has a win over Gioia and Geringer. If Thomas (PS) makes it back at 160, he has two wins over Lewis. Whitney is out at 171, and yes, it is Bage at 125.

Now that we have clarified that Bage is at 125, where in the seeding do you think that he would move up higher than what you thought Cockson would've been?

25 is DEEP. I don't think he is getting a seeding.

Eime from Seckman will be at 130. He beat Harris, Cain and Muenster at the PS tourney. This past weekend he placed 2nd at Liberty beating Yeargain from Cape Central in the semis. Yeargain won the Tiger Classic at 130.

Ranking Committee
02-06-2006, 11:41 AM
If any of the coaches want a copy of the file used by the ranker for their seeding meeting, please PM your school e-mail address to Ranking Committee. It isn't complete with all of the common opponents and only includes wrestlers we track for the rankings. It includes any wins over other class 4 ranked wrestlers and their tournament placement.
