After six straight victories in the UFC and an undeafted record Loyota Machida will still not get his shot. Even after Dana White said before his fight will Thiago Silva that he would get his shot if he won. Now it looks like if Quinton Jackson wins against Keith Jardine (which he will) then Rampage gets the next shot.

I think it's the marketing aspect that is holding them back. Rampage is a HUGE fan favorite and very marketable. And to be honest, most of Machida's fights have been pretty boring, IMO. Up until knocking out Silva, I didn't really care to watch him that much. He's kind of like Rashad Evans...boring to watch but always finds a way to win. Plus Rashad is the UFC's TUF star, so they don't want Machida beating him down too quickly :)

Plus, I don't know that Machida speaks english very well?? Not sure on that one, but the language barrier is an issue with Anderson Silva, I know.

Just my thoughts.

Yea, I'd rather see Rampage as Champ the Machida, The Dragons kind of a prick
