I don't think he was injured before the fight, but he looked like his pride was seriously injured afterwards. This fight was poetic justice for BJ after the trash he talked about GSP verbally tapping. GSP wanted more, he was definitely game for that fight. The end of the third round when he punched the cage cause he couldn't get the KO was awesome.

BJ got completely outclasses Saturday. After GSP got that first takedown, his head was out of it. I mean St. Pierre passed his guard with ease and nobody's done that. Hats off to GSP. What I'm curious about is what the heck does Dana White and Joe Silva do about GSP? I mean if he continues to fight at this level, nobody at welterweight is gonna beat him. Think after he beats Alves he goes up to 185 to fight Anderson Silva? It would be kinda interesting especially after the way Anderson looked against Patrick Cote.

Would be huge money maker but he would get stomped in a bad way. Doesn't have the horsepower to fight a much larger Silva who is at the least as skilled as GSP.

I think his match against Sirra proves that statement to be wrong!!!! :-D Get over your man love for the guy will ya! He beat a much smaller guy. Let's move him up to fight Silva. I would be very surprised if GSP made it out of the first round.
I was very very impressed with Jones. Only 21 years old! If he sticks with it and gets with someone that can either get him in shape or calm his nerves so he doesn't gas he could be someone to watch out for! Plus that guy is fun to watch and he is a wrestler!!!

Ok, lets be serious.... GSP will lose. They all do... Remember a few years ago whe Matt Hughes was unstoppable. I think everyone knows how his last 5 fights have gone. Everyone meets their match. Theres always someone bigger and badder. No disrespect to GSP, but he will lose soon enough. and it will be in his weight class.

I didn't say that GSP would beat Silva. I think Anderson would win in fairly convincing fashion. I agree with ya that there is always going to be someone better down the road but there's also a point in a fighter's career where he hits the pinacle of his success. Like you said Matt Hughes already passed it. I don't think GSP will lose at welterweight any time soon, and he will more than likely end his career much like Hughes' as a former champ who has stuck around a little longer than he needed. (But I will say that Matt Hughes can still beat guys, just not the caliber of fighters that he used to).
