I'm a coach and the dad of a little guy in the west county area. I have some experience with each of the head coaches at both Fox and Oakville. Randy Lowery and his staff at Oakville are great. They would get my strong recommendation.

Also - depending on where in South County you live, there is a great new team in Kirkwood. Super coach with quality assistannts. The team is predominantly made up of first year wrestlers with a few experienced boys. The coach is very experienced, motivated and dedicated - this club will thrive and it may also be a good fit for your first year guys.

Thanks for the kind words. I would say that with any of the aformentioned teams, the young man couldn't go wrong. It really is great to see new teams (Kirkwood/Mid-County) and established teams continuing to be strong. We got our first look at the Mid-County kids at ABC today and they're going to be very good. Singlets confused us though (Southern Illinois?).

By the way, Dan Seago and his folks did a great job with the beginners tournament today. Everything ran very smooth and we were out by 4:30PM.
