Belton Holiday Open/Novice 12/27

Belton is hosting its annual holiday open on Decemeber 27th. Sorry for the later than usual posting, we are under new leadership this year. Here is all of the pertinent information.

Entry Deadline: Monday December 22nd

Entry Fee: $10/wrestler—Checks payable to Belton Youth Wrestling, non-refundable after sign-up deadline, must include USA Wrestling Card #

Weigh-In: Friday Dec. 26th (6:30-8:00pm) at High School
Saturday Dec. 27th (6:30-7:45am) at High School

Wrestling Begins—Saturday 8:45AM
Medals: Awarded to top 4 or 6 wrestlers depending on bracket size
Admission: $2/person, children under 12 get in free

I need to include the following:

Divisions: Age as of Jan. 1, 2009 (MO/USA Wrestling Rules)
Standard weight divisions
Please submit weight, age, and skill level of wrestlers
1 = State Placer 2= State Qualifier 3= Experienced 4= Novice


We will run both the open and the novice tournament at the same time. We will keep novice and open wrestlers seperate.

The new tournament director will be Mike Sanders (who some of you may remember from years past)
