I made the voting closer by mistake. Voted for Winn by accident. Caputo would win, I thought they met up over the summer and Louis won. Caputo rarely allowed himself to be "close" to a bad situation.

Winn no doubt is a great wrestler, I do think 189 is a little in KC area is a little less competitive this year. Not to many do you have Caputo-Moore matches that were "College-type" matches and Park Hill's Sean Miller had an ability to wrestle Caputo close in some matches. Of course, all three won the state title.



I do remember Micheal Moore beating Winn last year at Ray South in a thriller.

No doubt, both Winn and Caputo will go down as some of MSHSAA best wrestlers of all time.

Without question. Louis has over a semester of collegiate wrestling and has beaten some big name Div I guys. This is NO WAY an insult to Winn, he's one of my favorite wrestlers to watch..........Louis is just that good.

Deron Winn moved up a weight class last year and destroyed Sean Miller. As for the freestyle match between Deron and Louis, Deron was winning by a large margin but gassed towards the end and lost.
