I got to meet Frank Mir at the Xtreme Cage fighting event in Joplin on October 4th. Seemed like a nice enough guy, took a picture with my kid and signed my Springfield Fight Club shirt. I hope he beats Noguria but it should be a great fight.

im calling Evans over Griffin easy, thought the card may be skewed because griffin is one of the most popular fighters in the sport. Silva will lose to Jackson. He is getting older and is not The same axe murderer he used to be. Mir loses to nogeira, though i probably spelled that wrong. Both are well versed in jiu jitsu but nogeira is a bit better standing

Evans over Griffin easy? No way. Evans can win this fight, but Forrest definately has the advantage. Forrest is coming off a win over Shogun And Rampage (both who are more skilled than Evans.) Wanderlei has Brutally knocked out Rampage twice in his career. Not the same axe murderer? maybe not but he looked amazing in his last fight where he destroyed Jardine. Wanderlei will take this one, He will get him in the clinch. I do agree with you on Nog though. He is definately the better fighter.

My Prediction:
Griffin-unanimous decision
Mir-split decision
Rampage-knock out to avenge the previous losses

I think forrest will win by a split decision, noguiera submission 3rd round, wanderlei tko 2nd round.

Another great fight on this card is Okami vs. Lister...I'm shocked that it's on the undercard!!!

Griffin vs. Evans - Griffin pulls out a split decision, IMO. The only way Rashad wins is if he catches Forrest and KO's him.

Rampage vs. Silva - Where is Rampage's head after all of the legal troubles and losing the title? Not to mention the fact that he was brutally KO'd by Wanderlei twice before. And the way Silva mauled Jardine...this could be an interesting fight.

Big Nog vs. Mir - If the fight goes to the ground, it'll be fun to watch. Two Jiu-Jitsu masters...

Evans (I don't like him, but I think he is a much better athlete and will pull it out)
Silva (should be a good one)
Mir- (another close one)

This is an awesome card! cant wait!!

If you really think Mir will win you need to find a bookee and put some money on that fight because Mir is a huge under-dog.

Thats why I picked him. He's an under-dog, but he is good enough to win. Nog was nearly defeated by Heath Herring 8 onths or so ago.
