Looks like after last nights fight (UFC 87) George st. Pierre will have to fight Bj Penn in december. Last time the two met up it was a 3 round fight with Bj Penn winning the first round and GSP taking the 2nd and 3rd round to grind out the decision victory. When these two face each other it will be a 5 round fight. Gsp has definitely grown as a fighter and BJ Penn has much improved cardio now. Who is gonna take this one?

Merry Christmas indeed! Only one can hope to get Lesnar on the card! I really enjoy watching him fight.... Penn vs GSP. I have to go with GSP.... I think he will be too strong for Penn.

Lesnar looked very poised on Saturday nite, and was never in any danger. But I was dissapointed he did not close the dealio after he knocked the sh*t out of his opponenet in the beginning of the fight. Not sure why he bumrushed him after the punch. If he had kept the fight on their feet, I think Lesnar would have eventually dislocated Herring's skull....

I was thinking the same thing.... He will always resort to where he is at home, which is on the mat. Im sure that bum rush was complete instinct. Im not sure if Lesnar was even puched? I wasnt impressed with his arrogence at the end of the match. He's better then that. Whos next for him?

Gotta remember, he's a former pro wrestler. Part of that job was self promotion. I was waiting for him to say, "Can you smell what the Brock is cooking? WOOOooooo!!!!!"

Very true... Who is his next opponent? After the way Kongo acted after his fight, the ufc should throw him in with Lesnar. Kongo was a complete idiot after he beat that yahoo.

Ya, that pissed me off. Kongo's one of my favs. What a tool.....albeit a giant, mean, badass tool. I'd take Lesnar in that...

Herring's corner was apparently talking a lot of sh*** which is what, supposedly, got Brock to act that way.

Not sure why they were talking ____. They could have been in the octagon as well and Herring still would of gotten his a## kicked. Total domination for Lesnar..... that first punch was nasty.

-GSP now says that he needs to rest and does not want to fight until 2009. I think because of this that Bj Penn should defend his title to further hype the SuperFight between him and St. Pierre. The obvious candidate is Kenny Florian.
-Up Next for Brock Lesner. The UFC is thin on heavyweights thanks in part to Afflication snatching up all the heavyweights so possible opponents are few. Fabricio Werdum and Gabrial Gonzaga are both big heavyweights with knockout power and excellant jiu-jitsu (Brock's weak point). Nogueria and Mir are already scheduled to fight each other, so take those two out of the bunch. This leaves undeafted new comer Cain Velaquez. If you don't know who this guy is look him up!!!! He is an all-american wrestler from Arizona St. and if im remembering right he lost to "King Konrad". He destroyed Jake O'Brien in his last fight and should fight Brock lesnar in their next fight.

It now looks like Brock Lesnar will be fighting Randy couture in Randy's comeback fight. Randy will destroy Brock. I think this is a dumb move for the ufc. They should give Brock a more suitable opponent to build him up more. Maybe someone like Congo who has decent stand up and no wrestling or jiu jitsu. (like Herring)
