Out of curiosity, what was the criteria that moved Epstein above Comotto? At SCW tourney, the finish was Perry-Taylor-Thomspon-Comotto. Epstein wasn't listed as placing in the top 6 - Did Epstein wrestle at SCW? Is he recently back from an injury?
Thanks

Epstein did not wrestle at St. Charles West.

Epstein has been injured all year. He returned to the lineup this week in Farmingtion's dual with Hillsboro.

How did Miller drop all the way to 6? Hasn't he beaten Thompson this year?

Thompson took three injury timeouts to throw up, the last ended up all over the mat, as a result he was DQ'd from the match.

Yeah, but isn't Miller like 3-1 over Thompson in the last couple years?

Thompson was beating Miller 4-0 at the time he started spewing.

Still, that doesn't matter. If I happen to score first on any opponent and then I bow out for any reason, I lost that match. Part of the game is being in good shape. If you aren't conditioned enough to compete, and in fact can't finish the match, then you lose. Seems easy.

It was 4-0 in the 2nd period when he had to DQ and at that point he was completely handling Miller. The throwing up was a result of an illness - not poor conditioning. Actually, I could understand the rankings going either way - there are legitimate reasons to have either one ranked above the other.

Does it really matter where they are ranked, besides something to argue about? Miller will be seeded above him at districts and all things will work out either that weekend or at state. I do believe that Miller is 3-1 against him. The first match last year came because of poor conditioning on thompson's part, the second time was at Winnetonka and thompson beat Miller handly, the third I dont recall and the latest was Levi getting sick on the mat. Perhaps they will see each other this weekend. However, does it really matter where they are ranked?

The third match probably would have been at districts last year.

Does any of this really matter for anything besides arguing? Of course not.
