He's not in the lineup, he's in the line-up, he's not in the lineup...I have lost interest in trying to follow the boy's career...it's exhausting.

If you are talking about Andrew Wood, I believe he still wrestles for Hannibal. I talked to his dad at the SCW Tournament and he was sitting with the Hannibal crowd so I have to assume he is still there. He has an injury that he is recovering from which is why he is out.

160 looks impressive as it does every year. I believe that no matter what any one says on these message boards the top couple of wrestlers all have the ability to win gold. Very anxious to see how it turns out in the end

Woody is in Clinton now. Transfered just this month...waiting on MSHSAA approval.

IMO-Kendall Burke is by far the clear cut favorite. He is something like 34-1 and beaten several of the top rated 60 pounders in the state in different classes. Yes, he did lose to Neely this last weekend, but I think it will only push him harder and help him refocus on what he needs to do. Plus, is there anybody else that can work a shoulder over better then he can? However, anyone can be beaten...

I saw in the Sedalia Democrat that Coach Stock said Sedalia will finish the season without standout wrestler Michael Kusgen, who Stock said was academically ineligible.

If I am not mistaken I think Mike was a Senior this Year. If that is the case that sucks. :(

Not sure if I was Mike, If I would be too happy about his coach putting that in the newspaper. If the Coach felt that the public needed to know something about Kusgen, he could have used the "Personal Reasons" as the reasoning why.

who will wrestle at 160 huggins or woods? does the clinton coach know gable? heard he talks to him all the time. even has gone to some matches with the coaches wife.

We'll just have to see how the transfer goes through and then see who wins the wrestle off.
As for Gable...he sees him on a regular basis and has been able to catch a few duals this year.

Just wanted to say Good Luck to Woody in his transfer to Clinton. He has always had the utmost respect for Coach and pending approval of MSHAA will become a Clinton Rebel. He definately will be a force to be reckened with and along with the whole Clinton team Look Out State!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hannibal's loss is Clintons Gain. And as far as Woodys family I'm sure that they are backing his decision 100% after all Coach is like family to Woody and what ever it takes to rise above they will make the exception to make it work. This is a true Wrestling family and the best to all of them!!!!!!!!! Go Cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you for sure that he had a bye???? He has not been on the mat for at least 6 weeks because of an injury. I heard he was out until districts, and he is going to weigh in at either 160 or 152 in class II. Are we talking about the same kid????

if we're talking about andrew wood, from hannibal, he is now wrestling 152 and he did have a bye in the win 68-9 over helias on his senior night.. i'm 100% sure.. he's been wrestling live in practice and is back

Hey Buck, how do you know so much about Woody, sounds like you know a lot about the Pirate Wrestling Room?? I guess Woodys expectations of being a Clinton Wrestler acording to you is "not true"???? I think that only MSHAA really knows the answer to that question. You know the FZW wrestling parents offered to adopt Woody if he would come to their school to wrestle, and he declined graciously, but when he heard of maybe moving to Clinton with his old Coach he said "yeppeee I aaaaaaaaaaa". So only time will tell and according to a reliable source without heart your dead.

You know bleachercoach, I think your correct didn't Woody have a brother that wrestled and was a real bad A$$??? I think Bro is wrestling at Virginia Tech W/Coach Brands. You know I didn't really put the two of them together until you mentioned it. Heck no wonder Missouri signed him, I bet that they are hoping that the two will meet at one time or another, although Woody's Bro will have to put a heck of a lot of muscle on those little bones. It definately will be interesting to see how all this will play out in the next few years. I guess we'll all have to wait and see.
