how do you rank a kid 7th when he beat the 3rd rank kid. and has over 20 pins this year. and only 4 loses I think

No matter how you rank this weight class, there is a contradiction.

Hill has losses to both Gray and Vernatti. That is why he is at 7.

We consider a lot of different factors not just head to head matches.

The kids ranked 3 through 10 in 135 each have losses to the other kids ranked 3 through 10. Although Hill beat Moyer, his 4 losses may have come to other ranked or non-ranked kids. Moyer may have losses or wins against better overall competition than Hill's. Gray also beat Moyer but in the overall scheme of things, he is right where he should be. I'm sure the rankers have taken everything available to them into consideration.

I love this, no matter how much effort goes into these rankings, which dont mean a thing, people still find things to piss and moan about. it should really work itself out due to the fact that rankings do not have a thing to do with seeding at the district tournament.

Chad I don't think Traumadog was mad I think he/she was just asking a question. Sometimes this wrestling gets a little confusing! For example I have a hard time understanding how a kid can wrestle one time and be ranked 2nd or 3rd or be out the first half of the season due to injury, mistakes etc and come back and be ranked #1 in their weight? Besides come Districts/Sectionals it all comes down to who is the best if they are first or tenth.

Werdenhause from Helias is ranked 10th at 130.............he is out with injury but will wrestle at 135

We saw that Werdenhause had competed recently at 130 so we just assumed he intended to stay there.

We will move him back up to 135.

To Mr. Pollock. Your call of Mr Moyer's match was not the same match that I watched. Were you there? I was. Mr. Moyer put himself in a bad situation with 26 seconds to go in overtime by taking a 2nd injury timeout from an eye gouge. His mistake. Hill took down. With 13 seconds left , Hill stood up, Moyer threw a leg in and slid down and ended up on his back 6-1. End of story. Score of Moyer and N. K.C. kid 9-4. I did not have the luxoury of setting behind Nr. Ewing with a laptop in front of me, I am just a civilian, but if you are going to do unbiased reporting or do not like the kid, his wrestling or think that he is overated, then just say so. I have and I am partial. Report the facts or say nothing at all. He is wrestling for an education and a scholarship (possibly)P.S. I think my 10 year old daughter and2x national A.AU champ could take you

It was in the first overtime, and Moyer took a ____y asmatic attack. Then right after that he recieved a poke to the eye which was unintentional but still hurt. He then took a 2nd injury timeout. Now, you know the sport . what happens?????????. Like I said the rest is history. If I offeneded you so what Yes my daughter is very knowledgable of this sport. She grew up with 4 brothers.Sorry about not seeing you cheer. Must have been behind your computer. What was your diagnosis of that match anyway. Don't be a smart ass when it comes to a kids future.I have no time or patients for it.I call em like iI see em and I still say that my daughter can woop you and yes I am an ass and anyone who does know me will tell you that, but I call em all out good or bad and will be the first to call my own out. Sorry just a bad habit that my old man left me (ps) I do appreciate what you do for the reporting of this great sport

Maybe I am a little too overbearing my bad. I was out of town. I agree that class 3 ranking does do a great job whether moyer is ranked or not. it all comes down to columbia so it really does not matter. I understand you trying to watch 4 mats. I could not keep up and had to rely on great updates at the wall. I do not mean to be a butt head but I guess that is in my nature. Yes I am his dad but like I said before I call them like I see them and I will be the first to climb all over him. Another bad quality.I have seen the evolement of so many kids to men and I just worry about life after this for them and I guess me. Nothing personal, I did mean what I said about appreciating what you do do for this sport. My apologies
