Was anyone able to figure out Kalib's game plan for that fight? He looked like he was getting a heck of a workout from all the running! :D

He had to of gotten hurt ealier in the fight? At one point in the fight, it looked as though a kick to the knee by Quarry may have injured him. I hope he has a good excuse #-o

If he was injured he should have said that he couldn't continue. He should be embarrassed. I was just pissed that that fight was aired over some of the others.

I would have much rather seen rising star Sam Stout's split decision loss to vetern Rich Clementi. There is a good article on UFC.com about how Kalib Starnes is now in the record book for being the only guy to lose 30-24.

I missed that fight, but I've seen many GIFs of the running. I hope someone makes a "highlite" video if the fight with some appropriate music.

Well apparently the reason that he backed up the entire fight was to protest the UFC. In his last fight with Grove he broke a couple of ribs, well the UFC did not pay Kalib like they were supposed to, and made him pay the medical bills himself. He says that he acted the way he did to protest what happened to him and other fightersthis has apparently happened to. And this was his last fight anyway. I think that this is very disrespectful to the fans and Nate, he could have handled the situation better.

Yeah I read that sorry a$$ excuse on Sherdog too. How F'ing stupid is that?? I don't buy it at all. Who goes through a training camp, makes weight, hypes the fight by talking sh!t andt then does what he did?

Total slap in the face to all the fans that paid for tix or PPV and he total jeopardized his career by doing that. He would have been much better off winning the fight (or at least fighting)then holding a press conference explaining his issues w/ UFC and why he will not be resigning with them.

I doubt we will ever see him fight in top organization again.

That was his last fight ever in the UFC or any other Zuffa run organization...which will soon be most everybody

Starnes should loss his contract, Danna White is still and always will be a ....tool.

UFC would be better without both of them in my opinion.

Where do you think the UFC would be if it wasn't for Dana? I'm not sure but it seems like he had a lot to do with the success of the UFC.

Starnes gives his own account to fight network. Personally I agree that there have been some problems with the ufc and what organization doesn't, but this is just stupid. Starnes knew what he was getting into and he ____ed out, sucks...
