If everything goes as planned, Farmington's 112 lber this year is going to be Brandon Wisdom. He is an incredible athlete with potential.

Brandon Wisdom hopefully will wrestle this year. He is a great kid is a situation that absolutely stinks. He is in our prayers. We will be rooting for him and his brother Bradley.

Brandon Wisdom got 4th in state for Farmington in 2004 at 103. He only weighed 95 at the time. The next year he moved in with his mother in Pacific and Farmington stopped him from wrestling for a year. So he lost his sophomore year. This year he moved back with his dad and now Pacific is stopping him from wrestling his junior year.

I talked to Brandon earlier this year and He said this matter was going to court. It may already be settled by now. He has already lost 25% of a High School career that he can never get back. I hope the people concerned do the right thing and let the kid wrestle.

He is a good kid and does not deserve to be a pawn to someone elses pride.

High school sports are suppose to be about the kids It looks like someone at the top has lost track of that some where along the way. What ever happened to doing the right thing for the kids.

Brandon wrestled for North county his Fr year and then transferred to farmington.....also if he lived with his mother/father in pacific why is he going to farmington?

First off, Pacific isnt keeping him from wrestling so quit trying to make the coaches look bad, the state is. I heard he is eligible. It's his own fault he should have picked somewhere and stayed instead of moving around.

Its his fault, what a wrong thing to say. How do you pick a place to stay, when it comes down to spending time with your family. I don't know the situation, but it could be a six month split. In that case it is wrong for the state to stop a wrestler from wrestling. I hope the best works out for this young man and he gets his chance to wrestle.

Brandon struggled to make 103 so he moved up to Pacific. Then at the end of wrestling season he moved back down to his dads. That is what happened. He is eligible now.

First off you shouldnt say these things if u dont know the situation so why dont you get the story straight from whoever your sources are. Brandon will be eligible in the 2005-2006 season for Farmington and will be at 112.

Sounds like alot of personal buisness being gossiped on by poeple who have no legible facts on the boys living arrangments. Most students have little say where they live. There is an eligability factor but let them figure it out,.

Im not trying to say anything bad about the kid. I know him personally, i know the situation. but i dont think it is right is that he can transfer twice in a year and be eligible when other kids transfer once to live with another parent and arent eligible. Im done talking about this.

howlowcanyougo,

From an outsiders perspective (not knowing this kid personally) I would say that you are not one to judje weather or not an athelete should be able to wrestle. Mabye had he switched schools twice within one season it would be different but from what I can see, competition begins tuesday and we will see what happens with him. As far as I am concerned he should be able to compete regaurdless the situation.

Chickenman, it is the State, not Pacific or Farmington that determines eligibility. I personally hope that Brandon does well, he is a very good wrestler. But to say that one school or another is keeping him from wrestling is wrong, at least in this situation.
