I agree with all of your picks w/ the exception of the Pelligrino/Diaz fight. I know Diaz has sick BJJ skills, but just think Pelligrino will be too much for him.

Maynard/Edgar fight is going to be awesome. Overall this a very pleasing card.

Pellegrino/Diaz was the hardest for me to pick. I actually started highlighting Pellegrino to be my pick until I changed it to Diaz. I can see that one going both ways.

Did anybody else see Tommy Speer just get completely owned by Anthony Johnson. That was shocking. Oh and does anybody else think this new season of "The Ultimate Fighter" is a bit watered down compared to seasons past? 32 fighters a but multiple with losing records or no pro experience at all, and it seems that Forrest and Rampage both brought along a few of their friends to compete on the show.

oh yeah almost forgot, Houston Alexander got knocked out by James Irvin in 8 seconds!!! 1 punch KO. I'm starting to think that Houston Alexander's a bit over rated after his last 2 loses.

Diaz pulled the strength to finish that match out of nowhere, it was awesome. Speer got owned, that guy made Tommy look like a high school kid fighting a UFC champion, he never gave him a chance to breathe. It's too bad, cause I was really pulling for Tommy to win. Irvin made Houston look like he has a glass jaw. The hit was solid, but should not have been enough to knock him out, and he was knocked out. He couldn't lift his arms, it was like they were stuck to the floor. How come Florian got away with those elbows to the back of Joe's head? Was it because he was on bottom in full guard, or was it because they were elbows, or was it just a blown call by Herb? I'm not sure, but it seemed like a blown call to me, but I don't have a full understanding of the rules. All in all, it was a very entertaining card from what they showed, except for the Maynard snoozefest.

I thought the Maynard fight was great.

I too thought the Maynard fight was a good one (very technical). He absolutely dwarfed Edgar, he looked HUGE.

Florian/Lauzon fight as expected. I think even thought he lost Lauzon will benefit from his performance.

Props to Diaz, that is one tough kid. Pelligrino was way too much for him to handle, but he got caught with his head down and that was it. Loved the pre-tap celebration. =D>

Either Speer flat out does NOT belong in the UFC or Johnson is that good? Speer has got a long way to go. I'm thinking Johnson could be a top contender in 2-3 yrs.

Alexander got ROCKED! Has one of his fights gone the distance yet?

I like the idea of making the fighters fight to be on the show, but also noticed that the talent pool was a little watered down. A few of the fighters had sub 500 records. The previews for next week's show looked to good.

I do not think that Speer should be in the UFC. It seems to me that last seasons TUF lineup was weak, with the exeption of Danzig and Arroyo, just my opinion.

For Speer, it was just the worst possible match-up, and Johnson was ready for him. Johnson was probably sick of all the hype, and who knows, maybe Speer got a big head or something. Speer did take about a dozen shots that would knock out over half of the welterweight competitors the UFC has, and that was all in the span of a minute. Johnson has a bright future, and Speer has an uphill battle. He is capable, though, he just needs to keep his hands up.
