My name is Scott McMurry and I am a head coach at Lindbergh High School in St. Louis. I know the regular season is not over, but I needed some information for my off-season.
I would like to put some freestyle duals / small tournaments together for the off-season. Nobody would be charged and we could move the sites from school to school. If anybody is interested in putting together a freestyle team together during the off-season and getting some local competition, please contact me.
I am also trying to put together a middle school team (6,7, and 8th graders) for next year. This would be separate from a little league team, but if clubs want to put teams together that would be great. I would like to set up duals for this middle school team and get them some experience outside of the weekend AAU/USA tournaments. I am thinking of running our practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays and trying to set up duals on Wednesdays. If anybody is interested in this, please contact me.
I would like these events to be local to the St. Louis area, if "out of town" teams would like to be a part of it that is great, but we probably will not travel far for a middle school dual.
