Yeah, that looked really legit. That is what gives our sport a bad rep.

All in all I think a couple fighters have potential, but I think doing this is a REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA! AND SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET HURT BADLY!! And if someone suffered a major injury there could be some serious legal action.

You guys at least need to get a wrestling mat to fight on if you're going to do that. I saw a couple lift and dumps that were pretty brutal on that thin rubber over a concrete floor. (by Trent or Ryan maybe)

Not only that but I wouldn't go inviting just anyone to show and fight. Clearly someone that has any kind of formal training or MMA experience would kill those guys.

Do you guys even have weight classes? There looked to be some major size differences b/t fighters.

This kind of reminded me of felonyfights.com (only not as brutal) which you can also see on youtube.

kind of reminds me of back yard wrestling or the movie fight club but with gloves. I dont think this is the place for this kind of post though. Most people here are current or former collegiate wrestlers and it wouldnt be right to fight in a basement.

"UFC" is the name of a fight promotion. "MMA" is the name of the sport. Get it right, you guys sound like a bunch of dumb rednecks.

douchenozzle.... I like that fudge, gonna have to steal that one from ya. I don't think these guys realize the legal trouble they could get in for this crap. If you want to fight, find a gym put in your time and get on a real show. It's not that damn difficult.

if yall really wanna step into a cage with trained athletes i'll get ahold of the promotion that put on the lebanon fight and the fight tomorrow in springfield, proving grounds fight league. i dont think it would be a great idea for any of the guys in the videos to fight people like jeremy cameron or kyle swaddle, but its what ever. i would pay to see an a$$ kickin.. ill be gettin in touch with yall from "rolla ufc" real soon!

If you refer to to it as UFC Fighting, it's a pretty safe bet that it will be an unorganized load of crap and wouldn't be worth going to even if it was free. Boo, you fail.

its not stupid if u think about it.. we have mouthgaurds, refs, matts, weightclasses, and gloves. and sure we'd love to get into the cage but we arent old enough yet.. we do this for experience because we dont have the opportunity to go to a gym. Plus a lot of professional fighters have started off doing stuff like this.

Yeah, until you break one of your friends arms or legs or something and they sue you and your family into the homeless shelter. Have fun making your family destitute. Professional fighters started off doing judo, jiu-jitsu, wrestling, boxing, i.e. they started out participating in legitimate competitions before they started fighting. What you're doing is not just stupid, it could ruin your life and your family's life. I saw the videos and who cares is right. If you're gonna keep doing what you're doing, you're obviously gonna do it. Just don't advertise here, cause nobody wants to buy what you're selling.

Please name some professional fighters that have started off doing stuff like that and include reference that we can verify with. [-X

I wouldn't consider Kimbo Slice a professional MMA fighter. A professional bare knuckle boxer and bonafide back yard bad a@@, yes, but MMA no.

I even wrote in my original post "besides Kimbo Slice" but edited it out figuring no one would make that big of an assumption.

But that is one, are there any more?

I was totally just ____!ing w/ you! Kimbo is getting paid (well I might add) so technically he is a pro.

I highly doubt there are any others though.
