The duals the second day were great! Lots of exciting action, big wins, upsets, etc! The Ok State - Minnesota dual was a true barn burner. Before heavyweight, the best match was Zack Esposition and Dustin Schlatter. My god these guys are fast and good. At heavyweight, Konrad wrapped up a bear hug and tripped Mocco straight to his back-- the fall was called within a few seconds. About as exciting a finish as I've ever seen (though the OkState folks didn't quite see it that way).

I watched Mizzou's first four duals, and for the most part they looked very good. Against Iowa they looked flat, as though their win over ISU was as much as they could muster. Chris McCormick's back-up at 141, Hoehn?, had a great day with some GREAT throws. Against Nate never-get-out-of-position-Gallick, Hoehn got the scoring going with an incredible-looking hipp toss that sent Gallick's legs FLYING near the ceiling. Gallick went straight to his back, but had the pressence of mind to bridge out of it so quickly that Hoehn didn't get nearfall points. In the next dual, Hoehn faced Iowa Tsirtsis... and Hoehn did the SAME thing, but with better results: Hoehn got a takedown and two nearfall points.
