State champ predictions for the most exciting class

Sorry not taking anything away from the other classes, but to me class 4 is the most exciting class and the one I'll mostly pay attention to. Does anybody have any early state champ predictions from 103-HEAVY?

im not including any freshman, dont know enough about them, i kind of just guessed on weights

Hold on hold on.... at 112 you got the champ comming back and 112 is gonna be a great weight class to watch . But you forgot that wendal jones has beeten both ziegler and hatchle. Hatchle lost to jones at districts and hatcle came back to beat jones at state for for 3rd. Ziegler is a good wrestler and he beet jones at the lindburgh tourney. I don't care for excuses but Jones did wrestle a few bigger kids at that tourney and I remember him being hurt for that match. Zeigler did beet him before that too.... BUT............ The last match they had, JONES SPANKED UM PRETTY GOOD. Jones almost beet Vito too so all i'm sayin is don't forget about Jones from Hazelwood Central. 112 will be fun to watch especially cause it's wide open.

There are some pretty good Class 4 freshman coming in at the lower weights that you may want to consider. There are more than a few of them that could make state title runs.

Ziegler at 112? Not sure, but i would say 50/50 I know he had problems at 103 making weight. I don't think he should go 119, I think he'd be fine at 112. I'd be shocked to see Jones at 119 for his sr. year, I don't belive in stupid curses. I just think Whemer just wrestled a bad tourney a few years back and had a ton of pressure on him. And Mead just picked a bad time of the year to wrestle bad. It happens especially at the state tourney in mo, i feel bad for those 2 but it happens. I don't think Hazelwood Centrals coaches will let Jones go 119, besides he could make 112 anyway.And for the guys at 119 last season, do you really think they all would stay at 119? I would think at least some of them would move up to 125. Not all of them but mabey a few. What do you think?

Erik will be at 119lbs again. He is only 126 right now. Once practices start, he will be at weight. Not making any predictions. As we all know, anything can and will happen at the state tournament.

Freeman entered the state tournament with a 41-6 record and I'm not sure what happend to him there, failed to make weight, didn't make weight, injured, moon-ed the administrator, or whatever, it appears he didn't wrestle.

His 41-6 reocrd looked good...

Yes Freeman was a FRESHMAN last year he still has 3 years remaining. has a freshman going to state atleast shows you have potential. Also having a 41-6 record isnt that5 bad for freshman year

They usually get some good wrestlers but a lot of them quit for various reasons. From some I have spoken with, they didn't like the young Mirikatani coach because they said he was very arrogant and a bad coach. Just what I have been told.

Fist of Love at 103 my guess is that Mac Bailey-Kyle Bradley also falls in the toss-up category. Based on their finals match in March and their performances at Cedar Falls I think that is fair assessment. It wouldn't shock me to see Mac at the top of the podium, it wouldn't shock me to see Kyle on top of the podium. They are good friends with each other as are most of the incoming freshman around that weight. At 112 I wouldn't leave Joe Green out of the calculation. The two you picked I think will be right there challenging for the championship as will Joe. Vito in particular has improved a lot over the summer. I was impressed with his (and Donte Butler's-Class 3) performance at Fargo. I think Dom Bradley also deserves some consideration at 215 especially in light of his strong summer showing. I can see Wes and Dom in a rematch at State. I hope your tongue was firmly in your cheek when making the comment about Deron Winn. Brandon Wiest will also make some noise wherever he ends up and I think that Miles Bolin is also ready to challenge for a title.

Joe Green is not going anywhere but OAK PARK. Right now he is getting pretty big so what weight he will go is still up in the air. Our season just ended so it's time for the kids to get as big as possible and then worry about what weight to go in November. FZW will be as tough as ever, and along with BS there will be a great battle for the Class 4 Title.

I don't know about that i saw Vilda wrestle at Marshall in free-style. He got beat pretty bad. I know this is free-style and not directly applicable to high school, but i do think it is a very good indication. Oh yeah, Bradley won that tournament.

1. I never said you can't hang w/ Bradley. To be honest, I could care less. Can you?

2. I'm pretty sure Bradley would dispense of Borgman quite easily. I was simply pointing out that Vilda's finals opponent was much different than yours.

3. I know that underhooks and pushing isn't the only thing that Bradley offers....however....that's all he did in the finals match against Wes. Except for the illegal slam.

well i unfortunately did not get to watch that match... but i am just standing up for dom because everyone so far has acted like wes is the far better wrestler.... i know wes is good and i think that dom is just as good or better... and on your question whether or not i can hang with dom i have wrestled him a lot and i win some and he wins some although he has beat me the last two times we have wrestled.... the andrew minks throw was my junior year and i was a lot better this year.... partially because i had gone to more camps and got more experience or knowledge..... i am not saying that i know more than you because i was a state champion i am just trying to say that i know something because i did win state so i am not just some slouch
