I think you meant that these are the 2 added teams from Ray-Pec & Park Hill moving up to class 4. Helias was in this district last year.

These are offical enrollments but unoffical districts

Actually they are NOT official yet. MSHSAA published them for verification that each school must do by Jan.13. However, they likely won't change much with maybe a few exceptions.

I am a bit torn... As a LSW fan, I am not sure how I feel about trading Ray-Pec and Park Hill for Fort Osage and Camdenton... hmmm

OK, now that the this season is over, let's move forward and start planning next season. Does anyone know when these will become finalized and be the new district assignments? If this is going to stand who does everyone feel will be the new Top Dogs will be in class 3?

All of these aren't bad choices but I think you need to take a look at these schools as well:

Warrensburg is returning all 6 of their qualifiers and they lose RP and Park Hill in their district.

SCW returning 5, and with the coaching they have will be a huge threat nobody gets more out of their wrestlers then ST Chucky (I hate myself for saying that they were my HS arch rivals back in the 80's)

Han has graduated alot but they have some top flight freshmen coming in (Ruby, Perry, Jarman, Janes) As we saw this year freshman make an impact. They will reload quickly. Also HAN will be hungry as they have been the bridesmaid of CL 3 for a long time now.

Farmington, Once again comes down to coaching. Always well coached plus a solid core of kids.

Ozark 5 meadlist coming back, a young team. there were some other frehman that wrestled varsity this year that gained valuable exp. They have some good kids that will be fresmen next year (Patterson, Spicer), But they are bigger and will fill into wts that have returning SQs. If the planets align and Zimmer stays at Ozark he will be a state q at 103. Most of Ozarks good lter wt kids are 7th and 6th graders)

So If I had to pick today:

Ozark
SCW
FRM

But I can see Chucky taking it, as I said before the SCW coaching staff has been good for a long time.

The X factor will be who will fill the void in the district vacated by Pec and PH.

Carthage could also sneak in, good young team they could be the darkhorse in the hunt

Of Course I have a biased opinion, but carthage does have some top flight freshman coming up. Plus the team as a whole only had 1 senior the whole year. They will be interesting to watch.

Bad thing to loose Ray-Pec and Park Hill. That is top quality wrestling that class 3 is losing. Gives a chance for some other teams to step up in the mix.

Also no one has mentioned Nixa they placed in the top 10 and aren't loosing many seniors either
