I specifically remember an interview Floyd did, where he said something along the lines of MMA was nothing more than thugs in a street fight.

I LOVE THIS! Mark Cuban could sell a box of rubbers to the Pope! I would pay $100 + for a ppv with Mayweather vs a top caliber MMA 155lbr. Just to witness a brutal beating and to able to say "I told you so" to so many people that I have argued about this with. This is exactly what Mark Cuban will bring to MMA, he is marketing savy and he has the money to throw at ideas like this. Bottom line is that if someone could arrange for the BEST boxers to fight MMA or K1 fighters people will pay to see it! Could you imagine if someone could get Lennox Lewis in the ring with an MMA or K1 heavyweight.

If Mayweather thinks he can just step right in and compete he's out of his f'n mind. If he takes 9-12 months to prepare for his first fight and starts at the bottom of the food chain like everyone else, he might have a chance. Fact is that Boxing is 1 demontional and MMA is a sport of many disciplines, and Mayweather or any other boxer couldn't beat a top 25 mma fighter at their weight class. :D
