I have a question about 103, Rose from Sullivan #3. What results give you this to rank him that high./ I dont know if h has improved this much since last year. Not to discourage him but just trying to make a point.

My correction he is at #2 and i know that good kids like Cyle Kelly and ZAck Bentliff, they may have more losses than him but tougher tournaments, maybe Sullivan has wrestled any tough matches yet.

Admittedly i dont know much about the 103 bracket, however, almost every one of the returning SQs moved up to 112. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE FRESHMEN! Thats why i only have 4 there. There is lots of room here for the freshmen, just need serious suggestions and or someone to offer a well thought out listing. (PROUDMAMA HINT HINT!) If i just get recommendations please give me some reasons why!! Really this is just my suggestions for the ranking committe.

Logan Schmitz is at 125 and Dillon Griffel is at 130, so you might want to adjust your rankings.

Alright, Cyle Kelly senior and a state qualifier maybe even placer last year, Zack Bentliff great wrestler defintely should be higher than 5th on rankings, also a USA State champ from last year. There are about 3 or 4 wrestlers that should be higher than Brandon Rose, He has been wrestling for a long time but never did anything his last 3 years at state.

Yust will be at 171 when recovered for the year.

Most of the Really Great Freshman are wrestling Class 3 and 4. (ie Wisdom, Lesters, Bradley, Bailey, etc)

Rose, I believe is undefeated this year. I equally believe he will place in state. I also have mentioned Merrit from Monett. He has been very impressive this year. He also has a history in Little League that has a great deal of success.

Another Kid that is making a name for himself is Nick Clemens from Odessa. He just beat a very talented Clint Spenser from Carthage. It was Clint's first lose this year. Clint also is a freshman with a great history in Little League. If I was ranking the 103 lb class it would look like this:

1. Zach Bintliff Buffalo
2. Nick Clemens Odessa
3. Cyle Kelly Kirksville
4. Michael Merrit Monett
5. Brandon Rose Sullivan

Just my humble thoughts. We all know that as the season progresses, new names will establish themself. And some names will prove to be weaker than once thought.

class 2 ranker did you forget about kyle meyer@125 and kellon bounos @130 ? they have both beaten ranked kids desicively.If not they are definitly flying way under the radar.

I completely agree. I have already mentioned Kellen Bounous as being and incredible freshman. He has beaten the #2 ranked 130 pounder. K. Meyers also from Monett is making big waves. He just came off of a very successful tournament and placed first. You will definately see these two at state and I believe they will take home medals.

At 119 you rank Enyart and Frye ahead of Anderson. He beat Frye at state,and beat Enyart at district. Unless Enyart is weighing in at 119 and wrestling 125 i have yet to see results showing him at 119.These boys are all very talented with little seperating them. Thanks for the rankings.

Proudmama, not all of the great freshman are in class 3 and 4. The Swift kid at Oak Grove (multiple state championships, top three finishes at Tulsa Nationals, multiple national championships, all tournament team at Schoolboy Duals this past summer), Mango at Whitfield (top three finishes at Tulsa Nationals and Cliff Keen, top three at finishes at USA State, great performance at Schoolboy Duals this past summer), Glasgow kid at Brookfield (Not too sure but I think he has won multiple state and national championships. I know he was Tulsa Nationals Champion this past year.), Glasgow kid at Oak Grove (USA state champion, Schoolboy Duals this past summer), as well as others who will be heard from as the season progresses. Statewide, this year's group of freshman may be one of the best ever.

everybody wants rankings right now, and when they come out and its not what they want to see they cry. most teams are still trying to establish a full and complete line up, let these guys who try to satisfy wanters needs make there adjustment as the season goes. be a good sport. :)

You are absolutlely right. I do not know anything about the Swift kid, but I do know Ryan Mango. He is in class one. Glasgow at Brookfield is also class 1. Both are great wrestlers.

I definately think that this years freshman as a group are one of the best classes in years. The list of names goes on and on and on.

Yes there are a few good freshmen at 103 in class 1 and 2 but she is right there are way more in class 3 and 4. Bradley Wisdom multiple time Tulsa, Reno, Cliff Keen National champion, Kyle Bradley, National Cahmp multiple time placer at Tulsa, Mac Bailiey Tulsa National Champ. There are also may others.

I agree there are probably more in class 3 and 4, but there are several in class 1 and 2. The Glasgow kid from Brookfield will probably wrestle 189 or 215. The Glasgow kid from Oak Grove will probably be at 171 or 189. The Swift kid would be 189 or 215, unfortunately, MSHSAA will not let him wrestle varsity this year. Mango is wrestling 103. These kids would be sucessful at whatever size school they attended.

I know that Mike Bell (sullivan) did not do good a state last year but in districts he pinned Matt Miller(desoto). Shouldn't bell be higher or miller lower?
