A promoter somewhere needs to set up a fight b/t Woodley and Hendricks!

Askren doesn't look like the mma type. I don't think he has a mean bone in his body.

I swear I read an article where Askren said he's considering MMA after the Olympics.

I think Ben mentioned it on Mat Talk on Mizzou's website last year.

Also, an article on revwrestling.com about Johny and Jake had this question:
Johny, Ben Askren has expressed interest in getting into MMA. What are your thoughts about him getting into the MMA arena? Knowing the type of competitor he is, do you expect him to be successful if he gets into MMA?

Hendricks: I don't know. I don't know what type of person he is. If he is the type of person for it, things are going to have to work out, just like for me. I know my mentality. And I know that whatever I do, I put one-hundred and ten percent into it. I believe that I have the meanness to do it. Those are all things that play a factor in getting into MMA. I don't know what type of personality he has, so I can't say anything on him.

He makes a valid point about mentality and meanness. I'm not so sure about questioning Ben putting effort into something though?
The fact of the matter is that to become an MMA fighter you have actually like to Fight, you should to want to hurt people, and you can't be afraid of getting hit in the face. You can't just be an exceptional wrestler or BJJ guy and think that you can hang with a well rounded fighter. I personally think that Ben's wrestling career will open up so many other doors, such as coaching and he will never become a fighter.
