Jr. Patriot Tourny

The Jr. Patriot tournament was a disaster last year. Ended up with coaches/parents just grabbing kids and throwing them on the mats. Anyone know what the problem was and whether it will be worth going to this year? Last year was my first as a parent so I was wondering if this was an aberration or par for the course.

Last year they had a computer issue with bracketing from what I have heard. I believe the guy with the computer didn't show up. I use the same software and it works great but you need the computer. Their tournament is normally very well run, this was definitely not normal for them. I missed last year because I was out of town, but normally you are out of there in about 3 hours or so.

I would give it another try if I were you. They have also cut the fee from last year to apologize and try to make up for last year.

This Tourney struggled last year due to weather and the cancelation of other tournaments. South opened up it's doors at the last second, because another little league tournament had been canceled. There were about 100 extra kids that signed up on the morning of the tournament, and that threw everything in to chaos mode. The tournament will be much better this year, and there will not be any big issues this year.
