I saw Chad Rosentangle has wrestled 152 this week, good call, this will make 152 much more interesting.

If he stays at 152 for the rest of the season, I could see him ranked somewhere between 6 and 10. (Last year as an undersized freshman at 171, he cracked into the top ten in class 3)

dopp is back and wrestling for st charles west. He dominated Montieth twice this weekend. Dopp will definately be in the hunt for the championship this year.

Golden was at 160 this weekend and beat Bland. Williams was beaten by Barba from Waynesville for first.

Barba defeated Jackson(OZ) in the semis 5-4 and then beat Williams in the finals by the same score. Golden has been wrestling at 160 bc Jackson has been wrestling at 152 but both are dropping weight classes.

If you're talking about Chad Rosenstengle, the answer is no he didn't. Ray-Pec was not at Branson. I'm not saying Golden couldn't beat him, just that he didn't. Chad, so far at 152, has beaten every one he was supposed to but has not yet beaten anybody ranked. He took fourth at the SCW tournament behind Dopp (SCW), Gant (Jackson), and Bader (Vianney). I don't know who he wrestled in the semi-finals but he lost a close one to Bader for 3rd. He has also lost to Hicklin (Park Hill) 6-1 but to be honest, it was more one-sided than the score indicates.

Not saying Barba is going to take it all at state. But he did look like a state champ at Branson with very balanced defense and offense. Tuff bracket ,tuff wrestler we will see what happens at state.
