In my opinion it is a much smarter move for Justin to move to 119 because 112 is loaded. I think he has a much better chance to place high or win 119 than he does to place high or win 112. I would say that for any wrestler by the way not just Justin. 112 is pretty strong at the top and is also pretty deep. It wouldn't surprise me to see further movement at 112.

Ya that is true i can see him placing in the top 5 at 112 but at 119 i can see him at 1 or 2.

I think the number 1 ranked class 3 119 is correct.

T.D.C. I agree that based on his state runner-up finish last year at 103 that he should be ranked #1. One of the problems with this weight class is there haven't been a lot of common opponents among the top kids to get any idea how they match up. I notice Nixa is in the Liberty Tournament, does anyone know what teams will be in this tournament? That tournament may yield some common opponents for Villiquette with the rest of the field.

We dropped Justin Knott to the 112# rankings based upon your above post a few weeks ago. It seemed that you were "in the know" on the Pacific wrestlers.

Now it sounds like Justin is staying at 119# (which is understandable), so, we will put him back at 119# on our next updated rankings.

Looks like the movement away from the "stacked 112" is on - Sanderson, Carthage (8th at 112) moved up to 119 for the Carthage/Webb City dual last night.
