The MSHSAA website shows champs for the past 5 years, I believe. You might have to find a state program for the rest of them.

This has been talked about a few times on here before. I think it was discussed that the MSHSAA has an office in Columbia (?) that contains all of the records of medalists complete with brackets. The idea has been thrown around to have some people start scanning those records and create a database to retrieve them from this site. I'm sure that somebody like Fudge, Ox, THFZN or Northco can tell you exactly where these records reside.

MSHSAA has a library of all MO sports state championship books, including all wrestling ones going back to the mid 70's, and most of the early 70's - those weren't really "state books", more like brackets stapled together. If you go to their office, more than likely they'll let you look through them. They let me.....but then again, I'm Fudge Tunnel. I don't know what the policy is for scanning/copying them, but I'm pretty sure they're not going to let you take them out of the office.

Deep Fat:
If you are only interested in past champions (not 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.), I have them on an Excel spreadsheet.

No problem, Deep Fat. Where do I find your e-mail address? I don't see it on your profile.

After season when things calm down, maybe Jonathon can set up a board broken up by each decade or even 5 years, and we can do it ourselves. I would imagine that between us we have many many years worth of State Championship books,, I know i have the 1983 and 1984 books somewhere around here.

Johnathon could probably bind it and make a few bucks off of it to support the site.

I have approx 20-25 state books I'm in the process of scaning, putting into a database, and creating PDFs. Hopefully I'll get it finished (at least the PDFs) by state.

Deepfat asked for a list of all champions. I have that. I simply need his e-mail address. Or he can send me a note to my e-mail address.

Bob:
We're talking about a spreadsheet that has 1655 rows and 6 columns. 10,000 cells. Are you saying I can dump all that into PM?
