buffalo tourny?

Does anyone have the results of the Buffalo Tourny...would like to know individual champions and team scores.

I doubt seriously if any of the results will get posted by the host school. I don't have any of my info in front of me, so I'll post something more accurate later if no one beats me to it.

Blair Oaks was outstanding, and the tournament champs with 318(?) points. I believe they had the following individual champions:
119 Barker, 125 Clark, 135 Nicoalescu, 140 Markway, 145 Broemher, 152 Clark, 171 Singer.

Other placers I remember were 112 Vanloo (4th), 130 Harwood (3rd), and I am pretty sure Alexander was in the top five at 285. I apologize in advance if any of these are incorrect or misspelled. I am working from memory here and I am old :lol: .

I cannot say enough about how great these guys looked. Very dominant. I was also impressed with Fatima, who also had a strong showing (and beat Centralia in a dual last week , as I understand it).

Alexander is the kid noone seems to know anything about. I saw him earlier this year and he did not look to good but he had an excellent showing at Buffalo especially if he is in fact a first year wrestler and if he has improved that much since just December when I saw him he is going to be a state qualifier before its done. Someone says he is a football player and the Cowher kid from Warsaw is a great wrestler but he had his hands full with the Alexander kid.

The other blair oaks kid was Henke at 189. Looked like a good athelete. Took 4th I think. Football player too.

If Blair Oaks is turning out first year wrestlers like that plus the experience they have in just a couple months it says alot for their program.

The 130 placings are wrong. Here are the correct placings:
1st Robert Clark - Reeds Spring
2nd-Kevin Phan - Hillcrest
3rd-Brad Swartout - Marshfield
4th-Drew Howard - Blair Oaks
5th and 6th I'm not sure on, but I think 5th was Ashley Larsen - Warsaw and 6th Matt Castle - Buffalo
